Prof. Dr. Tawfik commenced his legal career within the Egyptian Public Prosecution, ascending to the position of Prosecutor. Subsequently, he attained the esteemed role of Chief Prosecutor in the Public Funds prosecution, focusing on the prosecution of economic and financial crimes. His professional journey further led to his appointment as a Court Chief Judge, and subsequently, he undertook a secondment as the Head of the Rule of Law Department at the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan.

With an accomplished background, Prof. Dr. Tawfik garnered distinctive expertise in drafting official laws and legislation. His noteworthy roles include serving as a member of the Legal Legislation Committee in Afghanistan, representing the United Nations. Additionally, he was appointed as a member of the Legal Legislation Committee involved in drafting laws and legislations at the Egyptian Ministry of Justice.

Beyond his academic pursuits as a lecturer at various universities in the Arab Republic of Egypt and selected European institutions, Prof. Dr. Tawfik passionately engages in legal practice, offering comprehensive legal services in diverse areas. His private office, Tawfik and Partners, specializes in law, litigation, corporate affairs, and individual legal services.

With over 26 years of legal practice marked by a diverse portfolio of cases, lawsuits, and corporate transactions, Dr. Tawfik stands as a pioneer in the legal field. His expertise extends to white-collar crimes and complex commercial, economic, trade, investment, fund, and corporate business disputes. Notably, Dr. Tawfik has successfully managed a substantial number of such cases, implementing unique strategies that yielded brilliant results, some of which have garnered attention in the public opinion and social media sphere over the last decade.

Dr. Tawfik adeptly manages client issues, lawsuits, and judicial proceedings, adhering to high standards of transparency, clarity, trust, honesty, and dignity. He formulates goals, policies, alternatives, solutions, and a roadmap tailored to each case, actively involving clients in the details to achieve optimal results while prioritizing their interests.

His roles encompass legal advisory, counseling, and Chief Legal Officer positions, including engagements with Wadi Degla Holding, Smart Village, and the Italian Embassy in Cairo.

In the realm of local and international corporate practice, Dr. Tawfik extends Legal Adviser services, providing a roadmap and executive plan for corporate transactions, investments, associations, business modules, structures, restructuring, business setup, incorporation, and financing matters, all in accordance with corporate law and client guidelines.
